International evangelist John Mellor comes back to Lurgan
Apostolic Church this Sunday evening. A man who has witnessed all
sorts of miracles from people jumping out of wheelchairs to sight
being restored.
“This is John’s third visit to Lurgan and we’re really delighted
that he’s coming back again. On his previous two visits we
witnessed some tremendous things and we are expecting God to do
even more on Sunday evening,” explains Pastor Marcus Thomas, the
man behind the event and pastor of Lurgan Apostolic Church.
“Some people were able to throw away their walking sticks while
others were healed from pain they had suffered from for many
years. One lady discovered that her hiatus hernia problem had
disappeared and a young man with long-term back trouble was able
to touch his toes for the first time in years. John simply prayed
for them and God worked miracles in their bodies.
“But God doesn’t just heal physical ailments. He also heals
emotional problems as well and can set people free from life
destroying habits and emotional hangups too.”
Originally from Australia, John’s early ministry was with the
Aborigine tribes where he astounded the local witch doctors with
the power of God. He then moved to Scotland where a week’s
ministry was extended to a year, such were the miracles that were
happening there. And then an international ministry was born and
today John travels the world as an evangelist with the
non-denominational Christian Outreach Centre.
