Spiritual Warfare Seminar In
Apostolic Church 7th March 2005
Spiritual Warfare is the topic of a seminar taking place this
Saturday afternoon at Lurgan Apostolic Church. Scotsman Pastor
Samuel McKibben is the special speaker, a man who is no stranger
to Northern Ireland.
“I’ve been to the province a lot over the last five years and I
feel that I’ve a great bond with the Ulster people. At the
seminar, we’ll be having a closer look at ‘the armour’ that God’s
people need to arm themselves with,” explains Pastor McKibben who
has worked for almost 40 years in full-time ministry with the
Apostolic Church. But he’s far from retired and has recently been
preaching as far away as Nigeria, not bad for a man in his 70s.
“Nigeria is an incredible country and to witness what God is doing
there was exceptional. I preached to over 70,000 people at one
service there and the power of God just came down. Many people
were standing weeping giving their lives to Christ.”
So to hear more about Nigeria and the subject of Spiritual
Warfare, be at the Apostolic Church in Bridge Street at 2pm this
Saturday. Just in case you can’t make it on Saturday afternoon,
Pastor McKibben will be speaking on Sunday morning (11.00am) at
Emmanuel Christian Fellowship and he’ll be back in Lurgan
Apostolic Church at 6.30pm on Sunday evening.
